InCube is a company of architects, designers and technologists with a desire to create exciting architecture through professional and constructive cooperations with our partners and customers. We have established an world class team with extensive interdisciplinary expertise in development of innovative architectural ideas and products.
In 2013, Bjørner was one of the partners for establishing INCUBE AS. After working for several years at major architectural offices, he was looking for new challenges and an opportunity to further develop his own ideas and projects. Bjørner has won several innovation competitions for the development of new building systems and new use of materials in the construction industry. He has a broad network of contacts nationally and internationally. Several of his works have been published.
Bjørner is a MS in architecture from NTNU, and for the last 20 years he has led architects and engineers in a number of public and private building projects. He has experience from work at architectural offices in Norway, Finland and Germany. Through the project management of Domus Medica, an advanced research and education building for Statsbygg in Oslo, he specialized in LEAN. As a Black Belt LEAN lecturer and course holder, Bjørner is focus on creating efficient work processes for INCUBE, our partners and customers.

Maria has been in INCUBE since 2013 and became a partner in 2016. Maria is motivated by projects where interdisciplinary skills challenge the boundaries of architecture. She has experience from projects ranging from urban planning to detailed design. With specialization in light design, Maria has published articles, lectured and won an international scholarship for urban planning. She is now engaged in research at ETSAB in Barcelona through their PhD program. Maria is also engaged in work for European and Asian architectural magazines and blogs.
Maria has a bachelor degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in Italy and a master’s degree in ETSAB architecture in Barcelona. She has international experience from working in in Italy, Spain, China, Sweden and Colombia. She has worked for Dalian-Beijing Institute of Urban Planning and Design and Tham & Videgård in Stockholm, Sweden prior to joining INCUBE. Maria masters Norwegian, English, Spanish and Italian : therefore, she often becomes INCUBE’s initial contact point for new ventures.

Trygve is educated in materials technology with a passion for innovation. He was one of the founding partners of INCUBE in 2013, with a vision of being able to utilize interdisciplinary skills to create new materials and innovative use of materials in architecture and design. Trygve has 20 years of experience from business startups and innovative projects in a number of industries, such as renewable energy, buildings, batteries, electric cars, consumer electronics, medical technology and oil and gas. Trygve has a very large international network after living for 10 years in Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and the United States. Trygve has won a number of awards for his innovations such as ARPA-E BEEST award winner, DnB Innovation, Guardian CleanTech100, RedHerring100 Winner Europe, Global100 CleanTech, Summit at Stanford AO250 Global Winner and Going Green100.
Trygve is a PhD from the University of Oslo in Materials Technology and Electrochemistry. He has over 40 publications in international journals and conferences and has published more than 80 patents / patents pending in a number of areas. He has raised over $50 million in various start-up companies and projects through venture capital and soft funding. As an inspirator for new ideas and responsible for the operation of INCUBE, every workday is filled with new tasks for Trygve.
Marine joined INCUBE in 2019, as soon as she graduated as an architect at ENSAPB – Ecole Nationale Supérieure d´Architecture de Paris Belleville. She discovered Norway, first through her Erasmus year at the Oslo School of Architecture an Design (AHO) in 2016, the during a year as an intern at Nordic – Office of Architecture, where she had the opportunity to work on various projects trough various scales.Prior to gaining experience in architecture in Norway, she also worked in a couple of firms in Paris (Ignacio Prego Architectes, Badia Berger Architectes) as an intern, with a strong focus on housing.
Throughout her studies and for her diploma, Marine has developed an interest in working closely with the existing and reuse , as much as educational architecture. She sees in INCUBE a plan to further explore her interests as well as investigation the innovative aspect of her profession.
