ENERGY CENTRAL LINDHØY LEARNING CENTER

At Lindhøy in Tjøme there is an area of school buildings, sports hall and a new kindergarten. Together they form “Lindhøy Oppvekstsenter» translated «Lindhøy Learning Center». In order to create energy efficient operation of the buildings in total, a joint energy center has been established. It has heat pumps of approx. 370 kW total, 600 kW electric boilers and a well park for ground heat pumps with over 30 wells at 300 meters depth. The facades are cladded with iron oxide stained oak. The building was prefabricated in three modules.
